We are a quality driven fast pace multi-specialty dental office which is looking for an organized and experienced DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our Professional and friendly team!
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures including but not limited to:
- Take, develop and mount accurate and high quality radiographs
- Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; make the patient the #1 priority;
- Excellent chair side manner,
- Clean and prepare operatory
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment,
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment,
- Assist the dentists during a variety of treatments procedures,
- Take digital radiographs (x-rays)
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor’s schedule and patient flow
- Monitor level of dental supplies and order as assigned by Office Leader.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Current radiography certification required
- Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus,
- At least 3 years of dental assisting experience IS REQUIRED.
- Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Front desk experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- MUST be currently in the Dental Field with Minimum of 3 years as Dental Front Desk experience,
- Knowledge of Dentrix is a MUST,
- Reliable, self-starter with a positive attitude,
- Strong awareness & knowledge of Dental Insurance policies,
- Strong patient scheduling skills,
- Exceptional communication skills,
- Proficient at case presentations,
- Detailed oriented and great multitasker,
- Presentation of treatment plan and financial plans,
- Ability to maintain outgoing, friendly attitude with patients, staff, and doctor even under pressure,
- Leadership skills i.e. professionalism, discretion, integrity, honesty, and dedication.

We are a growing, patient-centered dental practice located in Novi. We are looking for an energetic and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team!.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate overall health and educate patients on preventive care, outcomes and oral hygiene and thoroughly explain perio therapy (if applicable).
- Take diagnostically acceptable digital radiographs.
- Follow practice protocols: deliver an exceptional patient experience, quality assurance, infection control, charting, referrals, implants, periodontal program; caries risk assessment and emergency treatment.
- Ability to connect with patients and build relationships is essential
- Stock required supplies and maintain equipment
- Able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Work with and report any emergency dental needs to the collaborative dentist
- Must be able to effectively manage their time while in the office
- Prepare patients for oral examination
- Perform dental prophylaxis & SRPs (scaling/root planning), debridement and laser assisted periodontal therapy (LAPT)
- Apply fluoride and sealants
- Maintain records
- Administer anesthesia to patients
Requirements
- – Possess a current Dental Hygiene License.
- – Certified for local anesthesia and dental radiography.
- – State RDH license – CPR/AED Certified
